Welcome to DesignTech Training Academy. By enrolling in our programs or using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all learners, applicants, visitors, and users of our website. DesignTech Training Academy reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Enrollment & Registration

Enrollment in a course or program is only confirmed once full or part payment is received.

Learners must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

DesignTech Training Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative date or refund will be offered.
3. Fees & Payments

All course fees must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.

Failure to pay may result in suspension of access to learning materials or withholding of certificates.

Fees are non-transferable.

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy.
4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Refunds will only be granted under specific conditions outlined in the Refund Policy.

Refunds may be subject to an administrative fee.
5. Course Delivery

Courses are offered online, in-person, or hybrid depending on the program selected.

It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they have the necessary tools (internet, device, etc.) for online learning.

DesignTech Training Academy reserves the right to make changes to course content, facilitators, or schedules when necessary.
6. Certification

Certificates are issued only upon successful completion of all course requirements, including assessments.

Learners must meet attendance and participation requirements as outlined at the beginning of the course.

Certificates may take up to 6–8 weeks to be issued, depending on internal and/or external moderation and accreditation procedures.
7. Code of Conduct
Learners are expected to:

Show respect to facilitators, fellow learners, and staff.

Adhere to deadlines and academic integrity (no plagiarism or cheating).

Not disrupt classes or engage in offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior.
Violation of this code may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion.
8. Intellectual Property

All training material, videos, presentations, and resources are the property of DesignTech Training Academy.

Learners may not reproduce, distribute, or share any content without written permission.

Use of materials is strictly limited to personal educational purposes.
9. Privacy & POPI Act Compliance
DesignTech Training Academy is fully compliant with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal information.
10. Limitation of Liability
DesignTech Training Academy is not liable for:

Technical issues affecting online learning platforms.

Loss or damage resulting from inaccurate learner information.

Any indirect or consequential damages resulting from course use or performance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the relevant South African court of law.
